I’m not the most religious person in the world and even though the book, at first glance, may suggest that reader may have to be to find value and appreciate the story – I honestly don’t think this is the case at all and I think readers from a wide variety of backgrounds can enjoy, and even learn from, the story that author Ivan King has created with “Breakfast with Jesus”. I must admit that I was also expecting the book to have a more serious vibe/tone, but quickly realized that the overall tone of the book is quite relaxed, and even almost conversational-like in nature (which fits the dialogue-heavy nature of the book perfectly, in my opinion).This is not the first book that I’ve read by the author, Ivan King, and I am certain that it will not be the last – Because, to put it simply, it has left me more than impressed yet again and with more reasons to keep staying a big fan of the author’s raw writing ability. On that note, I think that “Breakfast with Jesus” is just as good as the other work I read (The Path), if not better. My only issue is that I wish that it were longer, as I simply didn’t want it to end and I think the entire idea and concept of the book itself would really suit a longer version, such as being the core of a novella. Either way, I’m more than satisfied with the read and I will definitely be recommending it to a few close friends.

I don't believe one word of this book as I don't believe Jesus would act as this author depicted. I am so sorry that I ordered it. I would not have given it even one star but I couldn't write a comment without it.
I didn't like this book much at all, I found it very rudimentary.
Is a easy and understanding book. Is a good book for a first person who just starting to believe in JESUS....
I was amaze how short this book was. It’s so sweet and depth of truth, as Michael refers to Jesus as Person, and I was encouraged to reminded that our relationship with Jesus is real and intimate, that we can have breakfast with Him and lunch. That is amazing story to read.
This book was chosen as an "out of the normal" for me. While I grew up in a religious environment, into adulthood I ventured on my own for many years. I selected this book because it represented something different, and with the reviews, thought it might be an interesting turn for me. The book, by standards, is short, so did not take long to read. I would encourage everyone to open themselves up to reading this book, to learn more about themselves, and perhaps others, as well. Thoroughly enjoyed!
Short but very intriguing. Even those who do not believe in Jesus should read this short inspiration of words. It's interesting to see that no matter the walks in life the principles should be aligning all the same. Do not let the name Jesus put you off as it could be replaced with Allah or even Buddha. All walks in the religious circles and paths can relate to simply being a good human. Balance is also key and through reading this book it can be found if only you are open to it.
Book goes quickly, but is also good for referencing back on thought process. Nice read.
Ivan King, author of the book “Breakfast with Jesus,” writes a great book about a young man who has breakfast with Jesus. It was not any ordinary breakfast as one could imagine. The kid left from the breakfast meetings with a new meaning of life. He is presented with many lessons and secrets about heaven and earth that are revealed. The book is inspiring and it reads like a “Little House on the Prairie” story. In the story, the protagonist “Michael” is asked pertinent questions, told stories, and spiritually guided by Jesus at breakfast. This book is strongly recommended for those on a path to ascertain the universal power that is available to us all.
